If you are an independent professional and wish to use the illustration for commercial or marketing purposes (such as a book cover illustration, a banner for a crowdfunding campaign, etc.), I will ask for more information about the project the illustration(s) will be part of.

Process:

Submitting thus only initiates a pricing simulation. Indeed, only the first payment of 50% of the total amount will launch the actual commission process. The 50% left is paid before getting the final full definition files and potential pngs that you might wanna need later. Payment via Paypal’s “Send to a friend” to avoid transaction fees that I would have to add to the total price.

This payment will take place only after a quote is sent by email as you confirm your order, as well as the creation of a Google Drive folder (if you have a Google account) where your reference images and additional information about your project can be added. If not, everything can be handled via email or even Discord which works great too!

I keep the right to decline a project if I am not comfortable with its subject.

Subject:

I will draw your characters from high and low fantasy worlds, your creatures, beast companions, pets, etc. These can come with an environment that is simple and organic, or very basic symetrical archiecture and simple perspective.

Commissions based on photos to depict real people are possible but will be priced higher. Illustrations with suggestive context and nudity are accepted but at higer rates.

I will not draw objects or environments with overly complex architecture combined with complex perspective. The same goes for subjects with heavily industrial designs such as modern or futuristic vehicles, mechas, spaceships, modern urban cities, etc. However, steampunk is perfectly fine.

Revisions:

Revisions are always included. I will first send a rough sketch to define the composition that needs to be validated before going any further!

Then I’ll send the drawing as it is just before I begin the coloring stage. However I won’t wait before moving on, as my style doesn’t include a clean lineart phase and the drawing might not fully represent the final colored result. This step allows you to follow the illustration’s progress and give feedback on specific details I’ll pay special attention to during the coloring.

The final approval step happens once the final illustration is complete, minor adjustments can be requested then. Any time-consuming revision outside of this process will incur additional fees.
